This effective deodorant recipe is a great substitute for commercial deodorants. What I enjoy most about this DIY is the fact that the beeswax makes the deodorant firm enough to keep through the warm summer month's as well as inside an old deodorant container which twists up.

Recipe for DIY All-Natural Deodorant

  cup Arrowroot Powder
  cup Extra-Virgin, Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
  cup Beeswax
  cup Shea Butter
 ¼ cup Baking Soda
 3 tbsp Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth
 20 drops Lavender Essential Oil
 20 drops Tea Tree Oil
 1 tsp Vitamin E Oil

Measure out the shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax.

Melt down the shea butter, coconut oil, and beeswax together either over a double boiler on the stove or in the microwave.

Once the three ingredients are thoroughly melted together, add in the arrowroot powder, ensuring that it is thoroughly mixed together; If using a double boiler, turn the heat onto low at this point

Once the arrowroot powder has been mixed into the melted ingredients, add in the diatomaceous earth and baking soda.

Once the diatomaceous earth has been mixed into the melted ingredients, add in the Vitamin E oil, tea tree oil and lavendar essential oil;

Now that you have mixed in all the ingredients, transfer them to old deodorant containers and let rest for about 6 hours
